A seductive red wine that has an opulent aroma of ripe bramble fruits, spice and hints of mocha. The palate is complex and well structured with ripe tannins throughout and balanced with cherry, plum fruit and juicy acidity.
The production for this wine takes place from a low yielding, old vine, Monastrell - it also has additional Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah to boost the profile. They are fermented separately in small tanks and then matured in French and American oak for 20 months before blending and bottling.
A great match would be made with roasted meats and rich stews.
