Aristocratico Appassimento Salento is a full-bodied, rich red from Salento, Italy, made from Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes. Produced using the appassimento method, the grapes are partially dried to concentrate flavours, resulting in a wine with deep ruby-purple colour, expressive aromas of ripe plums and raisin, and a velvety, concentrated palate with notes of dried fig, spice, and tobacco. With 14.5% ABV, it is rich, smooth, and approachable, showcasing the warmth and intensity of southern Italian wines.

Production

Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes are partially dried using the appassimento method to intensify sugars and flavours. The wine undergoes careful fermentation and ageing, producing a concentrated, velvety texture with complex aromas of dried fruit, spice, and subtle tobacco notes.
