Boutinot Australia’s Listening Station range is quintessentially Australian – consistently high quality, approachable, and full of charm. These wines showcase distinctive regional character while offering styles that are hugely enjoyable and food-friendly.

Production
The Malbec is sourced entirely from an estate vineyard in Swan Hill, Victoria, with 5 hectares planted in 2000. Vines grow on their own roots in red sandy loam with a limestone clay base, producing concentrated fruit thanks to the tough growing conditions. Grapes are machine-harvested at night to preserve freshness, before fermentation in stainless steel at 25°C with regular pump-overs for three weeks. Malolactic fermentation follows, with 50% of the blend aged in French and American oak barriques for three months to add structure and complexity.

Dark and inviting, with chocolatey richness, ripe black fruits, and a streak of crisp minerality. Full-bodied yet balanced, this Malbec is both indulgent and fresh, making it highly drinkable.
