Pineau des Charentes
Pineau des Charentes is a French fortified wine made by blending fresh grape juice (must) with Cognac eau-de-vie, then aging the mixture in oak barrels. Originating from the Charentes region, it offers a sweet, fruity flavour with notes of honey, vanilla, and ripe fruit. Often enjoyed as an aperitif, Pineau des Charentes pairs beautifully with cheese, desserts, or on its own.
