Brunilde di Menzione Primitivo Riserva is a rich and expressive red wine from Puglia, crafted to showcase the depth and character of the Primitivo grape.

Vineyard and Terroir
The grapes are cultivated using the traditional “Alberello” (bush vine) method, allowing the vines to thrive in Puglia’s warm, sunny climate and well-drained soils. This low-yield system helps concentrate the flavours in each berry.

Viticulture
Manual harvest takes place at the end of August, ensuring that the grapes are fully ripe and capable of producing a wine with intensity and structure.

Winemaking
After harvest, fermentation occurs under controlled temperatures for approximately 25 days. This extended maceration develops the wine’s aromatic complexity and structural backbone. The wine is then aged in oak for at least 12 months, adding depth and subtle spiciness.

Tasting Notes
On the palate, Brunilde di Menzione Primitivo Riserva is full-bodied with ripe dark fruit flavours, balanced spice, medium tannins, and a long, persistent finish.
