Japanese Single Malt Whisky

Japanese single malt whisky is a refined style of whisky made entirely from 100% malted barley and distilled at a single distillery in Japan using traditional pot stills. Inspired by Scottish whisky-making techniques, Japanese single malts are typically triple-distilled, which contributes to their signature smoothness and clarity. The spirit is aged for a minimum of three years in oak casks—often including Mizunara oak, a rare Japanese wood that imparts distinctive notes of sandalwood, incense, and spice.
