San Marzano Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria is a full-bodied red wine from Puglia, crafted by Cantine San Marzano, a cooperative founded in 1962 by nineteen local vine growers. Today, the estate includes over 1,200 growers and is recognized for producing wines that combine passion, expertise, and Southern Italian tradition. This Riserva exemplifies the richness and depth of Puglia’s Primitivo grapes.

Vineyards

The grapes are sourced from the cooperative’s vineyards in Puglia, where warm Mediterranean sun, well-drained soils, and careful vineyard management ensure ripe, concentrated fruit with expressive aromas. Sustainable practices and attention to vine health contribute to the quality and consistency of the grapes.

Winemaking

Harvested at optimal ripeness, the grapes are vinified with traditional methods to preserve their varietal character. Aging enhances the wine’s complexity, structure, and integration of tannins, resulting in a balanced, harmonious wine.
