Description
This producer wanted to see what happened when they took their amazing Grenache Gris which are pink in colour and blended them with their Muscat and Viognier grapes and fermented them with their skins on as if they were using the process of making a red wine. This is a style often known as 'orange' wine - or Taronja in Catalan. Get the corkscrew and see what they have accomplished!
On the nose the aromas are delicate and perfumed, like you would get with red grapes and there is hints of orange peel or ginger spice. On the palate it is refreshing with tannic grip and a twist of bitterness like you might find with a negroni.
