Meet the producer

Citizen Wine is a sustainability-focused label known for expressive, organic wines and playful storytelling. The Sand Boy name pays homage to the old pub tradition of spreading sand on floors to soak up spills—honouring the hard-working “sand boys” who cleaned up and earned their drink.

Production

Grapes are grown in coastal vineyards and harvested early to preserve acidity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to retain purity and aromatic lift. The wine is bottled young, with no oak influence, allowing Albariño’s natural brightness to shine.

Tasting notes

Pale straw yellow with green tints. Aromas of fresh-cut grass, citrus peel, and white flowers. The palate is light and zesty, with notes of ripe stone fruit, lime, and a touch of spice. Crisp acidity and a clean, mineral finish make it effortlessly drinkable.
