Collaborating with a 16th-generation producer in Niederösterreich, the range highlights Austria’s most celebrated grape varieties and classic styles, presented in distinctive and eye-catching packaging. Sustainability and character are at the heart of their approach, ensuring each bottle reflects both the land and the people behind it.

Viticulture

The vineyards are sustainably certified by agroVet, with the estate producing its own fertiliser and seeds for cover crops. Young vines are protected from dry stress with straw from surrounding fields. Grapes are harvested carefully, by hand and machine, in the early morning from 15-year-old trellis-grown vines in Weinviertel, Niederösterreich. Soils are a mix of loess, clay, and granite, with a cool continental climate. Vineyards are situated at 230 to 300 metres above sea level, mostly south-facing, on terraces with inclines of 10 to 40 degrees.

Winemaking

The winery is energy-neutral, generating more energy than it consumes via a biogas plant and photovoltaic system. Grapes are pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks using selected yeasts over 15 to 25 days, with temperatures gradually increasing towards the end of fermentation. No malolactic fermentation is carried out, but the wine benefits from eight weeks on the lees. Gentle fining and cold stabilisation prepare the wine for bottling.

Tasting Note

Subtle exotic aromas complement ripe pear and fresh citrus notes. The palate is dry yet rich, with flavours of melon and grapefruit leading to a crisp, zippy finish.
