Glencadam's Distinctive Distillation Process

Located in the ancient city of Brechin, in the Eastern Highlands of Scotland, Glencadam Distillery has been crafting whisky since 1825. In 2021, the distillery re-installed a working water wheel, a tribute to its original power source.

Glencadam's distillation process is notable for its upwards-angled lyne arms. This unique feature promotes significant reflux, which is key to producing a single malt whisky known for its distinct tropical and orchard fruit flavors. All of the distillery's age statement whiskies are bottled at 46% ABV and are neither chill-filtered nor colored, ensuring the spirit's natural characteristics are fully preserved.
