Champagne

Champagne is a sparkling wine that must be produced in the Champagne region of northeastern France under strict regulations to earn its prestigious name. It’s made using the Méthode Champenoise (Traditional Method), where a second fermentation occurs inside the bottle, creating its signature fine bubbles and complex flavour.

These are the three most commonly used grapes: Chardonnay, this adds elegance and citrusy brightness. Pinot Noir, brings structure and red fruit notes. Pinot Meunier contributes softness and fruitiness.

Brut, is dry and crisp which is the most common style. Extra Brut / Brut Nature is bone dry with minimal sugar. Rose Champagne is made by blending red wine or using skin contact for a pink hue. Blanc de Blancs made entirely from Chardonnay. Blanc de Noirs is made from Pinot Noir and / or Pinot Meunier.
