Vineyard & Production

Grapes are hand-harvested from steep slate vineyards along the Mosel River, where the dark slate soils absorb heat during the day and release it at night, helping the grapes ripen slowly and develop intense aromatic complexity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperatures to preserve purity and freshness, before a brief period on fine lees adds subtle texture and depth prior to bottling.

Tasting Notes

Pale straw with green highlights. The nose is fresh and aromatic, with citrus peel, green apple, white flowers, and a characteristic slate minerality. On the palate, off-dry and beautifully balanced, with flavours of apricot and peach supported by crisp, refreshing acidity and a long, clean, mineral finish. Serve well chilled at 8 to 10 degrees.

A wonderfully versatile food wine. Pairs beautifully with seafood, sushi, lightly spiced Asian cuisine, roast poultry, and fresh goat's cheese. Also an excellent match for Thai green curry, Vietnamese spring rolls, or a simple smoked trout salad.
