Vineyard & Production

The grapes are hand-harvested from poor, sandy loess and gravel soils on terraced vineyards located around Gösing am Wagram. After picking, the fruit undergoes skin contact before gentle pneumatic pressing. Must fermentation takes place slowly in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks using wild yeasts natural to the vineyard environment. The wine is then aged on its fine lees until spring, acquiring textural depth and subtle complexity before careful filtration and bottling.
