The Domaine Boutinot Argiles Blanches Blanc is a rich, textured, and refined white wine from the Cairanne AOP in the Southern Rhône. Oak-aged and carefully balanced, it showcases vibrant fruit, floral aromatics, and subtle smoky, spicy notes, offering elegance, complexity, and a mineral-driven finish.

Meet the Producer

Domaine Boutinot has a long-standing passion for the Southern Rhône, with over thirty years of winemaking in the region. The estate works closely with trusted partner growers, combining traditional techniques and modern precision to craft wines that express the character of Cairanne’s terroir.

Production

Hand-harvested grapes from partner vineyards in Cairanne, including a Roussanne plot just 200 metres from the winery, are gently pressed and clarified by cold tank. 100% of the juice is fermented in 300–400 litre oak barrels, a mix of new and four-year-old wood, chosen to enhance texture and natural character rather than impart strong oak flavours. The wine is aged in barrel for six months before filtration and bottling.

Tasting Notes

Fresh aromas of ripe fruit and delicate floral notes, layered with subtle spice and smokiness from barrel ageing. The palate is plump, mineral-driven, and elegant, with a harmonious balance of fruit, spice, and freshness.

A versatile white, perfect as an aperitif, with summer salads, lighter fish or chicken dishes, or richer recipes featuring roasted poultry, fish, or fruit-based sauces.
