Vineyard & Production

The grapes are carefully cultivated on granite and siliceous soils in the picturesque hills situated northwest of Lyon, a region renowned for producing stellar Gamay. The fruit is harvested early in the season to lock in its bright, natural acidity. In the cellar, the grapes undergo traditional carbonic maceration, a technique where whole bunches ferment in a carbon dioxide-rich environment. This is followed by a short maceration period to extract beautiful colour and soft, supple tannins whilst keeping the juicy, primary fruit flavours intact.
