This 40 Year Old Tawny is a blend of wines from multiple harvests, each aged for an average of 40 years in small oak casks in the lodges of Vila Nova de Gaia. The extended oak ageing gradually concentrates the wine, developing its characteristic amber colour with greenish tonalities and building complex layers of dried fruit, nuts, and refined smoky flavours.
