Niepoort, a historic family-owned winery in the Douro and Porto regions, is known for combining innovation with tradition, producing Ports that showcase the region’s unique character while respecting centuries of winemaking expertise.

Production

Sourced from low-yielding vineyards in the Cima Corgo region of the Douro Valley, the grapes are mainly trodden in lagares before ageing in small old oak casks. The use of these barrels ensures a gentle oxygenation that develops richness from older wines while retaining freshness from younger wines.
