The Beyerskloof Diesel Pinotage, which has matured for 20 months in French oak, is best enjoyed on its own or served with dark meat or savoury dishes - the combination with lamb or an Indian curry is highly recommended. Incidentally, the Beyerskloof Diesel Pinotage is named after the Great Dane Diesel, a faithful companion of owner Beyers Truter.
