A happy accident turned into a liquid masterpiece by winemaker Guillaume Letang at Maison Boutinot in the Languedoc Roussillon. This co-fermented collision of Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer is juicy, aromatic and wonderfully unpredictable, because the best things in life rarely are.

Vineyard and Production

Sourced from IGP Pays d'Oc vineyards in the Languedoc, where both varieties are co-fermented together to create a wine that is fun, bright and full of character. The co-fermentation allows the aromatic intensity of the Gewurztraminer to weave seamlessly through the red cherry fruit of the Pinot Noir, producing a result greater than the sum of its parts.

Tasting Notes

Red cherry notes from the Pinot Noir meet lychee and tropical fruit from the Gewurztraminer, creating a flavour that is both charming and unexpected. Juicy and aromatic with refreshing acidity and a lively, expressive finish.

Perfect Pairings

An excellent match for Asian dishes such as sticky plum duck and fragrant Thai curry. Also well suited to creamy salmon risotto and enjoyed lightly chilled on a warm evening.
