Tasting Notes

Nose: Mown hay and cracked black pepper, with red bell peppers, nutmeg, clove oil, and green tea. Sweet honey and peaches from the Malaga casks. Palate: Honey sweetness with pot still spices. Flavours of fresh coffee, creamy milk chocolate, and creme brulee, with notes of red apples and toasted oak. Finish: Sophisticated and complex, with sweetness throughout, followed by a mix of red grape and dry barley.

Perfect Pairings

Best enjoyed neat or with a small drop of water. The Malaga-driven sweetness pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, dried apricots, and soft blue cheese. An exceptional after-dinner whiskey.
