Villa Wolf Pinot Noir is a medium-bodied, approachable red wine from the Pfalz region of Germany. It shows bright black-cherry fruit with juicy, ripe flavours, complemented by a spicy mid-palate and a lingering finish. The wine is balanced with firm acidity and subtle earthy tannins, enhanced by gentle oak aging for depth and complexity.

Villa Wolf is a prominent winery in the Pfalz, renowned for producing elegant, terroir-driven wines. The estate combines traditional winemaking with modern techniques to capture the distinct character of the region while maintaining freshness and structure in its wines.

Production

The grapes are 100% destemmed and undergo cold maceration before fermentation in stainless steel at 18–20°C. Half of the wine is matured for 15–18 months in French oak barriques (30% new) for depth and complexity, while the other half is kept in stainless steel to preserve freshness.

Medium-bodied with bright black-cherry aromas, juicy ripe fruit on the palate, a spicy mid-palate, and a long, elegant finish. Subtle oak adds smoky and earthy nuances without overpowering the fruit.
