Meet the producer

From a dedicated producer specialising in expressive and terroir-driven whites, Merope reflects meticulous vineyard and winemaking practices, ensuring aromatic intensity and elegance.

Production

Grapes are destemmed, crushed, pressed, and settled before fermentation at 14–16°C. Siegerrebe undergoes pellicular maceration prior to fermentation to maximise aromatic extraction. The wine is aged on its lees for six months and does not undergo malolactic fermentation, preserving its bright, crisp character.

On the nose, Merope presents rose petals, white peach, and lychee. The palate is vibrant, featuring grapefruit alongside floral and citrus notes, with medium acidity providing freshness and structure.
