Trevibban Mill Black Ram Red is a smooth, smoky, and balanced red wine with a deep purple ruby colour and a vibrant finish. It benefits from decanting, either in a vessel or directly in the glass, to fully reveal its complex aromas and flavours.

Crafted by a dedicated team, Black Ram Red showcases careful vineyard selection and traditional winemaking techniques, highlighting the expressive character of Dornfelder and Rondo grapes.
Production
Grapes are destemmed and crushed before fermentation in open-top tanks at ambient temperature for 7–10 days, with extended skin contact for up to 4 weeks to extract colour, flavour, and structure. The wine typically spends 8 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels and partially in tank. Full malolactic fermentation occurs in both barrel and tank. The wine is unfiltered to preserve its natural texture and depth.
Tasting notes
On the nose, Black Ram Red displays baked plums, black pepper, and dark chocolate. The palate is rich and layered, with black cherry, blackcurrant, and sweet spice leading to a smooth, lingering finish.
