Vineyard & Production

The Fransola estate sits at altitude in Penedès, where cold nights and mild days provide ideal conditions for producing concentrated, aromatic Sauvignon Blanc. Half the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks at 14°C to preserve freshness and varietal character, while the other half is fermented and aged in barrel at 16°C for six months, using 50% new oak from a combination of French and American cooperages. The two halves are then carefully blended, clarified, and bottled to maintain elegance and balance.

Tasting Notes

Bright pale yellow in colour. The nose shows exquisite aromas of white flowers, citrus, and tropical fruit, complemented by fine herbaceous and mineral undertones. On the palate, it is flavourful and silky with vibrant acidity and a lively, elegant finish. Serve at 10-12°C.

Ideal with all types of seafood, grilled fish, aromatic poultry, salads, and vegetable dishes. Also excellent alongside goats cheese, asparagus, or a classic prawn linguine.
