Torbreck Old Vines Grenache Mourvèdre Shiraz 2022 is a premium Barossa Valley GSM blend produced by Torbreck Vintners. The estate combines traditional Rhône-inspired winemaking techniques with modern practices to craft wines that are rich, expressive and balanced. Sourced from mature old vines across the Barossa Valley, the wine showcases the intensity and complexity of the region while retaining elegance and vibrancy.

Production

This red is a blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Shiraz. Each variety is harvested carefully and fermented separately to preserve its character before maturation in seasoned oak. The wine is aged to integrate the tannins, enhance structure and achieve a harmonious, full-bodied style.

Tasting notes

The wine displays aromas of ripe red berries, dark cherries and subtle spice on the nose. On the palate, it is full-bodied and layered with blackberry, plum and savoury notes, supported by fine, well-integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish. Its vibrant fruit and complexity make it approachable yet age-worthy.
