Distillery & Maturation

Tomatin Distillery was founded in 1897 in the village of Tomatin in the Scottish Highlands, sitting at over 1,000 feet above sea level in the Monadhliath Mountains. The Legacy is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and virgin oak casks, with the bourbon casks contributing creamy vanilla and orchard fruit, and the virgin oak adding a subtle sweetness and gentle spice. Unpeated. Bottled at 43% ABV.

Tasting Notes
