On the nose, it opens with aromas of dried fruit, toasted oak and vanilla, followed by hints of spice and citrus peel. The palate is powerful yet balanced, revealing flavours of dark chocolate, raisins and sweet malt, with a warming spice that builds gradually. The finish is long and intense, with lingering notes of sherry richness, oak and a touch of nutmeg.
