The Singleton Sunray is a smooth and elegant Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, crafted to highlight the honeyed and fruity side of Dufftown’s signature style.

Released in 2014 as part of a duo alongside Tailfire, Sunray takes its name from a salmon fishing fly, symbolising its refined and graceful character. It is matured in a combination of toasted European oak and American bourbon casks, which enhance its natural smoothness and impart layers of sweet fruit and soft vanilla.

On the nose, Sunray offers a fusion of ripe autumnal and tropical fruits, with hints of blackcurrant, heather honey, and gentle spice. The palate is clean and fresh, revealing golden sweetness, soft vanilla, and subtle oak, balanced by a light texture that remains engaging throughout. The finish is delicate and smooth, with lingering notes of fruit and spice that fade gently.

Designed to be approachable yet complex, The Singleton Sunray is best enjoyed neat, over an ice ball, or with a splash of water to open up its nuanced flavours. It’s a beautifully structured malt that showcases the softer, sweeter side of Speyside whisky-making.
