Meet the Producer

This wine is crafted by Tbilvino, one of Georgia’s leading wineries, known for combining traditional winemaking methods with modern techniques. Based in Kakheti, the country’s most renowned wine region, Tbilvino has built a reputation for producing wines that express the unique terroir of Georgia while appealing to contemporary tastes.

Production

The grapes are sourced from vineyards in Kakheti, planted on alluvial soils and benefiting from the region’s continental climate. Fruit is harvested by hand from vines averaging eighteen years of age. After pressing, the juice undergoes fermentation in temperature‑controlled stainless steel tanks at 16–18°C, with a brief maceration period to enhance flavour. The wine is then left on its lees for four months with regular bâtonnage, adding texture and complexity.

Tasting Notes

Tbilvino Rkatsiteli opens with bright aromas of orchard fruit, citrus and white flowers. The palate reveals flavours of yellow plums, melon and subtle herbal notes, supported by a lively acidity and a touch of minerality. The finish is crisp, fresh and long‑lasting, leaving a clean impression with hints of stone fruit and floral elegance.
