The Globe stands out not only for its premium blend of aged Port wine but also for its historically inspired bottle design. Taking cues from the iconic ‘shaft and globe’ style used in mid-17th century English wine bottles, this edition captures the essence of early glassblowing craftsmanship. With its rounded shape and robust construction, the design marks a key chapter in the evolution of wine bottles, preceding the famous ‘onion’ bottle later associated with Taylor’s founding in 1692.

The Port itself is a carefully curated blend drawn from Taylor’s extensive aged tawny reserves. Crafted to reflect the house’s signature richness and complexity, the wine offers a harmonious, full-bodied profile with a long, elegant finish—hallmarks of Taylor’s traditional ageing process in seasoned oak casks.
