Vineyard & Production

Sourced exclusively from Grand Cru Chardonnay vineyards carefully managed under the eye of Christelle Rinvelle, Champagne Taittinger's highly regarded vineyard manager. The vintage was marked by challenging weather conditions with a difficult spring, but excellent summer sunshine and careful harvest timing produced grapes of exceptional quality and concentration. This careful vineyard management and unique vintage conditions contribute to the wine's exceptional quality and character.

Tasting Notes

This elegant Champagne displays a beautiful golden shimmer with colours of straw yellow and reflections of gold, accompanied by a fine, delicate mousse that is creamy and captivating. The nose is mature, voluptuous and yet fresh and bright, exhaling delicious notes of gingerbread, liquorice and meringue with delicate white fruit, mandarin peel and a subtle touch of almond pastry. The palate shows great mineral power, dense and rich with the Chardonnay flexing its iodine character. The finish is long, refined and complex.
