St Ives Brewery Whistling Up The Wind IPA is shaped by local superstition and modern brewing flair, taking its name from the long‑held belief that whistling at sea can summon storms and serpents from the deep. Those traditions, passed down through generations of Cornish fishermen, give the beer a sense of place, while the brewing itself leans fully into contemporary East Coast style.

It pours hyper‑hazy and thick and carrying the soft, plush texture that defines the modern milkshake‑leaning IPA. Oats and wheat create a smooth, velvety body, while Talus and Ekuanot hops drive the aroma and flavour. The nose is rich with fruit and a touch of boozy warmth, leading into flavours of ripe peach and passion fruit that sit atop the creamy malt base. The hop character stays expressive without harshness, giving the beer a rounded, juicy profile that lingers long after each sip.
