Springbank 30 Year Old 2026 Release Single Malt Whisky is an exceptionally rare expression from one of Scotland’s most traditional distilleries. Established in 1828 and still operating with every stage of production carried out on site in Campbeltown, Springbank continues to craft whisky using time‑honoured methods that give each release its unmistakable character. Lightly peated and distilled 2.5 times, the 30 Year Old represents the pinnacle of the range, matured predominantly in bourbon casks with a small proportion of sherry influence to enhance depth and complexity.

The nose opens with soft candle smoke and manuka honey, gradually revealing layers of cranberries, white pepper, potpourri and orange. The palate is refined and richly textured, showing honeycomb, icing sugar, crystallised ginger and demerara sugar, supported by a subtle briny note reminiscent of salted caramel. The finish is long and elegant, with peat smoke lingering alongside eucalyptus, mint and the distinctive gorse‑bush character that speaks clearly of Campbeltown’s coastal terroir.
