The 2025 release of the Springbank 21 Year Old Single Malt Whisky from Campbeltown on the West coast of Scotland has been matured in a mixture of wood. 65% ex-port, 25% ex-bourbon, 5% ex-sherry and 5% ex-rum.

This characterful dram opens with aromas of Medjool dates and sticky toffee pudding, followed by rich treacle, stewed plums and a burst of blood orange zest, all gently framed by lingering peat smoke. On the palate, the smoke deepens alongside notes of smoked figs, caramelised brown sugar, cigar box, blackberries and a hint of Iberico ham. The finish is warming and layered, with flavours of banana bread, cinnamon spice and a savoury, earthy undertone that rounds off the experience.
