Springbank 18 Year Old 2026 Release Single Malt Whisky is a distinguished expression from one of Scotland’s most traditional and hands‑on distilleries. Established in 1828 and still independently owned, Springbank continues to carry out every stage of production on site in Campbeltown, using time‑honoured methods that give its whiskies their unmistakable character. Lightly peated and distilled 2.5 times, the 18 Year Old sits at the heart of the range, matured in a carefully balanced combination of bourbon, sherry and a small proportion of rum casks.

The aroma is vibrant and layered, opening with marzipan, white‑chocolate‑coated raspberries, marmalade and heather honey, supported by a subtle leather note. The palate brings a rich and rounded depth, showing treacle, brambles and blackcurrants, lifted by hints of nutmeg and dark chocolate. The finish introduces a gentle ashy quality alongside gooseberries, salted pretzels and a touch of cayenne pepper, leaving a long, complex and satisfying impression.
