Candòra Chardonnay is a beautifully expressive white wine from the sun-soaked vineyards of Salento, crafted entirely from Chardonnay grapes. It captures the warmth of southern Italy while maintaining a refined balance of freshness, texture, and aromatic depth.

Vineyard & Production

The Chardonnay vines, around 15 years old, are trained in the spalliera system with Guyot pruning, planted at a density of 4,200 vines per hectare. Yields are carefully managed at approximately 7,000 kg per hectare to ensure fruit concentration and quality. Grapes are hand-picked and gently placed into airy crates to preserve their integrity before fermentation at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, fresh floral aromas mingle with notes of exotic fruit and a delicate hint of vanilla spice. The palate follows seamlessly — dry, full, and velvety, with a beautifully harmonious structure and an elegant, lingering finish. A wine of great character, balance, and persistence.
