Michel, Philippe and Benoît Girard own 19 hectares of vines planted on the three different soil structures of Sancerre: Terres Blanches (clay and limestone), Caillottes (chalky limestone) and Silex (flint). They favour judicious blending of the separately-vinified cuvées to create wines with real complexity and balance
