Sagamore Spirit Cask Strength Rye takes the distillery’s two‑mashbill blend — one high‑rye, one low‑rye — and bottles it at full proof, without dilution. That higher strength intensifies both the sweetness and the spice, giving it a bolder, more concentrated version of the classic Sagamore profile while still keeping the Maryland‑style roundness.

Its aroma shows caramel, vanilla, orange peel and a strong burst of rye spice. On the palate, it offers a powerful, full‑bodied texture with notes of cinnamon, dark toffee, citrus zest, peppery rye grain and toasted oak. The finish is long, warm and spice‑driven, with lingering caramel and citrus.
