Rustenberg’s Chardonnay showcases the house style of the estate with elegance and balance. Aromas of apricot, coconut, and orange peel lead to a palate of marzipan, sponge cake, and citrus, all seamlessly integrated with carefully judged oak and fresh, balanced acidity.

Vineyard & Terroir
Estate-grown in Stellenbosch. The 2022 and 2021 vintages benefited from cool, wet winters followed by warm ripening periods, resulting in high natural acidity and full fruit expression.

Winemaking
Hand-picked grapes were whole-bunch pressed and fermented in 300L oak barrels with wild yeasts. The wine was aged on lees for 8 months in 25% new French oak barrels, with the remainder in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fill.
