Meet the Producer

This wine is produced by Résonance Wines, the Oregon estate of Maison Louis Jadot, one of Burgundy’s most respected producers. Combining centuries of Burgundian winemaking tradition with the distinctive terroir of the Willamette Valley, Résonance creates wines that unite Old World craftsmanship with New World vibrancy.

Production

The Chardonnay grapes are hand‑harvested from vineyards in the Dundee Hills, notably the organically farmed Découverte Vineyard. Volcanic Jory soils and the region’s cool climate provide ideal conditions for Chardonnay, delivering fruit with natural freshness and minerality. Fermentation takes place in a mix of French oak barrels, stainless steel tanks and concrete eggs, followed by ageing for around fifteen months to build texture and complexity while retaining purity and tension.

Tasting Notes

Résonance Chardonnay opens with aromas of vine peach, orange blossom, honeysuckle and lemon peel, layered with apricot, vanilla, brioche and grilled hazelnut. The palate is ample and generous, showing citrus and stone fruit with subtle spice, supported by delicate mineral nuances and lively acidity. The finish is long, elegant and intense, leaving a refined impression.

This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with roast chicken, creamy pasta, grilled seafood and mushroom risotto. Its balance of fruit, minerality and gentle oak also makes it an excellent choice for festive occasions or refined dining.
