Vineyard & Production

The grapes are hand-harvested from mature, low-yielding vineyards planted on weathered granite and decomposed shale soils across premier Stellenbosch sites. Each variety and individual block is vinified separately in small stainless steel tanks with traditional cap management to ensure optimal extraction. The component wines age individually for around twelve months in French oak barrels (a combination of new and second-fill). Following exhaustive barrel tasting and strict point scoring, the final blend is formulated and returned to barrel for further maturation to achieve complete harmony before bottling.
