The No Rules Wines portfolio is the work of up-and-coming Portuguese winemaker Tiago Macena. He sources from the best vineyards across Portugal's key regions, crafting wines that authentically express the terroir while offering exceptional quality and value.

Production

Local varieties Jaen, Alfrocheiro, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Roriz are sourced from the Dão region. After harvesting, each grape variety is vinified separately with gentle extraction and aged in cement tanks. In the spring following the harvest they are blended together, and the wine remains in cement before bottling to preserve freshness and fruit purity.

Tasting Notes

Appealing and lifted red fruit aromas with a gently herbal note. Crunchy strawberry and raspberry fruit on the palate, which is fresh and elegant with smooth tannins and bright acidity. A modern-style Dão red, medium-bodied, elegant and full of fruit.
