Solera aged Guatemalan and Belize rum. Sweet up front with a honey texture and a pleasingly dry, sherry, tannic finish developed from the Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks used during the ageing process. Guatemala in Central America is famous for producing the Zacapa brand of rum. This solera aged rum is aged at 8,000 feet in barrels that had aged pedro ximenez, oloroso, bourbon and cognac casks. Sweet upfront then with sherry characteristics in a very dry finish this blended and finished by Cognac Ferrand in the Grande Champagne region of Cognac in France.
