Bodegas Pinuaga Colección Organic is a medium-bodied, lightly oaked red wine from La Mancha, Spain, crafted from 100% Tempranillo. Certified organic, this robust wine showcases the mineral-driven character of its high-altitude vineyard and delivers a rich, complex profile.

Meet the producer

Founded in 1960 by Valentin Pinuaga Salazar in Corral de Almaguer, Toledo, Bodegas Pinuaga is now managed by the second and third generations, Valentin & Esther. The estate specialises in organic and sustainable winemaking, preserving old vines and expressing the unique terroir of La Mancha.

Production

Grapes are sourced from the 45-year-old single vineyard “La Lastra,” known for its flat stones that store heat and water, enhancing mineral expression. Fermentation is carefully managed, followed by 12 months ageing in American oak barrels to develop complexity, integrate tannins, and add subtle vanilla and spice nuances.

Tasting notes

Deep ruby in colour, the nose exhibits bramble, black olive, and balsamic notes complemented by cloves and oak. The palate is bold yet elegant, with a complex interplay of dark fruits, mineral character, and subtle spiciness. A long, structured finish completes the experience.
