Sichel Pauillac is a refined red wine from the prestigious Pauillac appellation on Bordeaux’s left bank. Crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Merlot (31%), and Cabernet Franc (4%), this wine exemplifies the elegance, structure, and classic character of Pauillac, offering rich aromatics and a polished palate.

Maison Sichel produces wines with meticulous attention to detail, combining high-quality vineyard practices and precise winemaking to deliver wines that express the terroir while remaining approachable and enjoyable.

Production

Vines are carefully tended, with yields controlled and grapes hand-harvested. Fermentation occurs in wood and stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures, with pump-overs and maceration tailored to each plot to achieve optimal tannin extraction. Malolactic fermentation takes place in both vats and barrels, followed by 20 months of ageing in oak and tanks to integrate flavours and enhance structure.

Tasting notes

Deep purple in colour, the nose reveals aromas of fresh red fruits, pepper, and liquorice. The palate is silky and aromatic, with an elegantly structured mid-palate, pure cassis notes, and a long, refined finish that highlights the Pauillac terroir.
