Made from 50 years old bush vine Negroamaro, Salento’s principal native grape, this is a fabulous expressive wine which has notched up awards across the globe, year after year.

Grapes are handpicked early in the hours of the morning, these are then fermented in stainless steel and maceration takes place on the skins which lasts 12-15 days with light pumping over. This wine is matured for 3 months in stainless steel and 12 months in oak before a further 3 months in bottle.

The wine is ruby red in colour with garnet reflections. On the nose it demonstrates a breadth of illustrious elegance. Praiseworthy spices fade into fruit jams, sweet and candied fruit. Orange peels dipped in dark chocolate are a more than surprising treat.

Orders placed by 2pm (Monday to Friday) are dispatched the same day.
