Old Ballantruan 10 Year Old is a heavily peated single malt from the Tomintoul Distillery in Speyside — an area not usually known for smoky whisky. Its peat level and rustic character set it apart from the region’s typically gentle style, giving it a bold, earthy profile while still keeping Tomintoul’s natural softness.

Its aroma shows earthy peat smoke, sweet malt, vanilla and a touch of herbal dryness. On the palate, it offers a rich, smoky texture with notes of campfire smoke, honeyed barley, toasted oak and a hint of peppery spice. The finish is long, warming and smoky, with lingering earthy peat and gentle sweetness.
