Meet the Producer

Citizen Wines have had this made in the heart of Portugal’s Vinho Verde region, O Lado Bom celebrates the area’s tradition of crafting lively, low‑ABV wines with natural acidity and freshness. The focus is on purity, precision and drinkability, using local grape varieties and modern winemaking to create wines that feel joyful and uncomplicated.

Production

The grapes come from 30+ year old trellised vines planted on granite and clay soils. After manual harvesting and careful cluster selection, the fruit is fully destemmed and pressed to obtain free‑run juice only. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at 12–14°C to preserve aromatics and brightness, resulting in a crisp, clean and refreshing style with a delicate spritz.
