Distilled at the revived Lindores Abbey distillery and matured for six years before being selected by North Star, it comes alive at 60%, carrying a mix of bright orchard fruit, creamy sweetness and lively spice that feels both youthful and surprisingly composed.
It opens with a burst of baked apples, pear drops and vanilla fudge, wrapped in a gentle malty warmth. There’s a clean, almost herbal freshness underneath, the kind of note that hints at new‑make vibrancy but in a way that adds energy rather than roughness. As it settles, richer tones appear: honeycomb, toasted barley, a touch of lemon oil and a soft biscuity depth from the cask.

On the palate the high strength makes itself known immediately, but once the heat eases it reveals layers of sweet malt, stewed apples, creamy toffee and a lively peppery kick.
